Early Life and Inspiration
Born in the historic Civil War town of Franklin, Tennessee, Jeff Garner's deep connection to nature began on his family's horse farm, immersed in Cherokee heritage. These formative experiences instilled a profound respect for the environment and an appreciation for the simplicity and elegance of natural living. Garner's passion for sustainable living fuels his dedication to creating fashion that honors both people and planet.
Sustainable Luxury
In 2003, Garner founded Prophetik, a luxury fashion brand deeply committed to sustainability, ethical production, and the use of organic, plant-based dyes. His unique approach blends 19th-century techniques with contemporary style, emphasizing craftsmanship and environmental responsibility. Prophetik has rapidly become synonymous with sustainable luxury, featured prominently in prestigious fashion events including London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, Shanghai Fashion Week, and Canada Fashion Week.
Prophetik’s acclaimed collections are carried by elite boutiques worldwide, including Fred Segal (Los Angeles), Eco Age and My Sugarland (London), and select boutiques in Japan and Switzerland. The brand will soon launch its first dedicated concession in Nashville, Tennessee.
Artistic Philosophy
Jeff Garner’s philosophy centers around the belief that true luxury must not compromise the wellbeing of humans or the planet. By merging traditional craftsmanship with innovative, sustainable practices, he creates garments that empower individuals to make informed, healthy choices about what they wear. Prophetik serves as a bold statement against the pervasive use of harmful chemicals in mainstream fashion, advocating for transparency, responsibility, and conscious consumerism.
