Fashion Illustration Fun
It was an intimate and illustrated affair on Friday night at the book launch of Amelia’s Compendium of Fashion Illustration over at the Scout Hut in Bethnal Green. From Amelia’s House – the publishers of the cult Amelia’s magazine – the book features the work of 30 emerging illustrators, who have captured the creations of 50 ethical fashion designers.
“I decided to publish Amelia’s Compendium of Fashion Illustration – featuring the very best in ethical fashion design, for two reasons: to promote the work of amazing up-and-coming fashion illustrators, and to call attention to the fabulous innovative creations of the new breed of fashion designers,” says Amelia Gregory, the mind behind the book – and fashion stylist, photographer and textile designer extraordinaire.

Guests enjoyed tea and Lily Vanilli cake, as well as live fashion drawings by the very illustration talent documented in the book before taking their glad rags for a spin in the Scout Hut. Fun was had by all.
